Your challenge

We are seeking a Mid-level Software Developer (all genders) to join our dynamic Plug & Charge team. Our services allow EV drivers to plug in and charge up instantly using automatic EV-to-charging station authentication technology - no apps or RFID cards needed. As Mid-level Software Developer, you will contribute to develop and maintain a series of microservices and overall cloud infrastructure which empowers Plug & Charge systems.

Your Tasks

• Develop backend code, mostly in Java using Spring Boot Framework.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Design, write, test, deploy and maintain highly scalable, testable solution.
• Analyze requirements, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing software applications.
• Be a great team player and at the same time a self-starter, working asynchronously when needed.
• Likes to learn, share experiences, and mentor newcomers.
• Take on additional tasks within the efficient multifunctional team according to experience level and seniority.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• Development experience with programming languages/frameworks (essential: Java, Spring Boot; desirable: Go, Elixir)
• Understanding of Microservice based architecture (essential) / experience deploying services to Kubernetes cluster (desirable)
• Experience with REST API design (essential)
• AWS Cloud / DevOps experience (desirable)
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform (desirable)
• Experience with IT security and PKIs (desirable)
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment (essential).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills (essential).
