Your challenge

Hubject Financial Services GmbH was founded in 2024 as a subsidiary of Hubject GmbH. We are a startup consisting of 7 experts covering functions like project, risk and legal management. SO, you will naturally support in various topics as part of a small team, learn a lot and contribute to building a new company.

Your challenge (should you accept it ;) ) is to ramp up our service portfolio and conquer new markets together with a small team of highly-motivated specialists. As a Senior Business Development Manager (all genders), you are a jack of all trades and don’t shy away from any task. You do what must be done to guarantee the success of the company. Your main task however, will be to collect business requirements (from internal stakeholders and customers) and prepare them for our product development to pick them up and turn them into technical requirements. Furthermore, you coordinate and actively manage special projects like product rollouts and market entries.

Your Tasks
  • You design and implement scalable business processes across operations, sales, and service areas, ensuring high efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You collect, structure, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into actionable product development initiatives, following an MVP-driven approach.
  • You coordinate and lead the go-live of new projects, products and services, and are responsible for stabilizing and optimizing operations post-launch.
  • You align and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Finance, Risk, Legal/Compliance) and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • You oversee daily business operations, define management KPIs, and establish a structured framework for reporting operational and sales performance.
  • You drive profitability planning for new and existing business activities and align financial targets with operational execution.
  • You continuously analyze operational processes and project outcomes, developing proposals for improvements and strategic adjustments where necessary.
Your Profile
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, project management, or operational management
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in dynamic, international environments.
  • Academic degree in business administration, finance, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience and mindset in building and stabilizing processes in scaling organizations (MVP mindset and pragmatic execution).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings with C-level and product teams.
  • Analytical, KPI-driven, structured, and used to managing initiatives independently.
Language
Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

German, Spanish, Romanian, Hindi, Polish, Mandarin, Persian, French, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic... and sometimes sarcastic :)
